As urologists, our physicians are highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney, and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but since a wide variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.

Steven L. Jensen, M.D. Steven L. Jensen, M.D., is affiliated with Tri City Urology Associates, P.C. He received his B.A. in biology at Utah State University in 1986. He subsequently earned his medical degree from University of Utah School of Medicine in 1991, with extensive training at the Howard Hughes Institute specializing in molecular genetics. His internship was at University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1992. He completed his urologic residency at the University of Kentucky in 1996 and is board certified with the American Board of Urology. Dr. Jensen is an assistant professor at Michigan State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Jensen specializes in adult and pediatric urology, female urology, urologic oncology, and minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones. He is the only urologist in the Tri-City Area trained and experienced in laparoscopic urologic surgery including laparoscopic nephrectomies. He is one of the few leaders in the state of Michigan with experience and training in neuromodulation of the bladder for urinary incontinence. (InterStim/bladder pacemaker).

Dr. Jensen has specialty training in renal transplantation and vascular surgery. He also has extensive experience in office ultrasonography, cystoscopy, vasectomies and microwave therapy for prostatic enlargement.

Dr. Jensen is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and holds memberships in the American Medical Association, American Urologic Association, and the Michigan State Medical Society.

Aditya D. Bulusu, M.D. Aditya D. Bulusu, M.D., is a board-certified urologist committed to providing adult and pediatric urologic care to the Tri-Cities. Dr. Bulusu received his B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, 1989 and his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY at Syracuse Health Science Centers College of Medicine in 1993. He completed his General Surgical and Urologic training at the University of Massachusetts from 1993 to 1999. He also spent a year at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London, England for training in pediatric urology.

Dr. Bulusu has special interests in renal stone disease, urologic oncology, pediatric urology, minimally invasive therapies for BPH, and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Bulusu is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and holds memberships in the American Urologic Association, American Medical Association, Michigan Medical Society, and Saginaw County Medical Society.

Joseph N. Aquilina, M.D. Joseph N. Aquilina, M.D., is affiliated with Tri City Urology Associates, Inc. Dr. Aquilina received his M.D. degree from the University of Munich (Ludwig Maximilians) and served his internship at St. Luke's Hospital, Saginaw, Michigan. He completed his urology training at University of Buffalo Hospitals and University of Iowa Hospitals.

Dr. Aquilina also became a life member of the American Medical Society. He is a member of various societies. In addition Dr. Aquilina served as chief of the section of urology at St. Mary's Hospital for 20 years and is on the teaching staff as Associate Clinical Professor at Michigan State University.

Dr. Aquilina is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology.

Glenn E. Kershen, M.D. Glenn E. Kershen, M.D., is a partner with Tri City Urology Associates, P.C. He attended State University of New York at Buffalo, school of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences from 1990 1994. He also attended St. John's University; Jamaica, Queens, NY. Dr. Kershen served his residency at Temple University Hospital at the Urologic Training Facilities listed here: Temple University Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Abington Memorial Hospital, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and Temple University Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA, from 1996-2000. Dr. Kershen also served as a General Surgical Resident at Temple University from 1995-1996.

Dr. Kershen is affiliated with the American Medical Association, American Urological Association and the Endourological Society. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Kershen specializes in urologic treatment for both adult and pediatric patients. He specializes in urinary incontinence, prostate diseases, bladder cancer, and minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones.
